Yes. Most places are accessible by roads, but before you start driving you must present your driver’s license to the IRD (Inland Revenue Department), License Revenue Division to obtain a Drivers Permit for 30 days

Yes, if you have a 900 MHz GSM cell phone you can buy a SIM card from any one of the two carriers in Guyana, ‘Digicel’ or ‘GT&T’.
